Books are a Load of Crap

Details the responses I typically get when on disclosing I have published a couple of books. For these reasons I no longer mention my books unless prompted; and even then I respond with taciturnity - unless that is I'm sure my questioner has something original to say.

Books Do Furnish a Room

I give some indication of the riches we are jettisoning, by relying on strings of ones and zeroes in the electronic ether. We renounce the tangible book at our olefactory peril.

Not a Thousand Words

It is shown that newspapers, magazines and television are stuffed with visuals that add nothing of any value. A picture is not necessarily a thousand words, just because it is there.
